Step 1: Set Up Your Account for Success
Before you start accepting jobs, let's make sure your account is dialed in perfectly. Think of your rates and location as your digital storefront—without them, customers won't be able to find you!
Quick Setup Checklist:
Log in to app.aceroadside.com/auth/login using your registration email
Forgot your password? No worries! Just click "Forgot Password" and you'll be back in business
Set your pricing by heading to the Pricing Setup section and entering your rates for each service you offer
Verify your location under Settings > Business Profile—your street address should pop up beautifully on the map in Location Preview
Pro Tip: Test Your Visibility!
Want to see exactly what customers see? Here's a fun way to test it:
Visit aceroadside.com and request one of your own services
Go through all the steps (but don't worry—no payment needed!)
If you can spot your business in the "Choose Service Provider" section, you're golden! ✓
This little test run will also help you understand the customer experience and how job alerts flow through the system.
Step 2: Master the Job Flow
Here's how the magic happens: customers choose their service provider based on price, distance, and ratings. When they pick you, you'll get instant alerts via email and SMS with handy links straight to the job details.
Having a competitive rate is crucial for staying busy. Below are the suggested rates for various services, based on average nationwide rates.
Roadside Assistance
Minor services (tire change, jumpstart, gas delivery): $25
Mileage: $0.25/mile
Towing: $60 hookup fee + $1.00/mile
Scheduled Services (plus $0.25/mile):
Mobile Car Wash: $30
Mobile Tire Service: $40
Towing: $70
Mobile Mechanic: $75
Mobile Electrician: $75
Auto Glass: $120
💡 Pro tip: Use professional titles in your service descriptions. For example:
Roadside Assistance → “Tire Swap”
Scheduled Services → “Tire Replacement”
This adds clarity and boosts your chances of being chosen.
Accepting Jobs is a Breeze:
Click the link in your email or text
Review the job details in your account
Accept or decline—it's totally your call!
Once you accept, the customer gets notified immediately and can track your route in real-time
Step 3: Keep Customers in the Loop
Communication is everything! Your customers can reach you through the in-app chat feature (found under "Communication & Support" > "Messages").
Important note: Don't mix this up with "Tickets," which is specifically for dispute resolution.
Best Practices for Happy Customers:
Always keep them updated on your ETA, even if they're tracking you in real-time
Need special parts or equipment? Let them know ASAP and update the rate in the service section
Transparency = trust = great reviews!
Step 4: Document Everything
Every job—whether Roadside Assistance or Scheduled Services—has a super helpful photo upload feature:
Click on the job
Go to "View Details"
Under "Request Details," find "Documents"
Upload photos of your work or receipts for parts
This protects both you and your customer, plus it shows your professionalism!
Step 5: Handle Issues Like a Pro
If something unexpected happens (like accidental vehicle damage), don't panic! We've got your back:
Use the dispute resolution dialog under "Tickets"

Step 6: Stay Flexible on the Road
Heading out of town? No problem! You have two great options:
Option 1: Take your business with you!
Simply update your address to your new location
Keep accepting jobs wherever you roam
Option 2: Take a break
Go to Business Management > Services
Edit each service and toggle "Is Service Active"
Watch the green "Active" status flip to red "Inactive"
Don't forget to switch it back when you return!
